The place to camp in the centre of Bohemia!
The campsite “Camping Bucek” is located in Central Bohemia between Prague (40 km) and Karlovy Vary (80 km) on the road E48. The campsite is owned by the company Wilzing s.r.o. (Dutch management) which also runs the campsite “Camping Frymburk” at Lake Lipno in South Bohemia.
The area of the Camping Bucek is 5 hectares including 1 hectare of forest. It is situated directly at a large lake which can be used for all kinds of water sports. There is boat, hydrocycle and windsurfing board available for customers as well as a water trampoline.
We also have playgrounds for children with 2 trampolines, swings and sea-saws, a slide and a sand-pit. There are also two tables for table tennis, a volleyball court and one central fire place.
In the camping there are 100 pitches (100 m2 each), each equipped with electric connection (6 amps) for caravans or tents. Some of these places are in the full sun, some of them in the shade of the trees. We also have 4 comfort places with private toilet and shower.
Besides camping there is also a possibility to rent some of our new completely equipped luxury mobile homes or apartments with bedroom, kitchen and bathroom, terrace and garden furniture.
We have for our guests also a heated indoor swimming pool with 100 m2 and depth 160 cm. Part of it is reserved for children – the depth in the children’s part of the swimming pool is 30 to 60 cm. From 1st July to 15th August the entry (in short swimming trunks) to the swimming pool is 1 EUR and in other period it is free.
There are modern washrooms, toilets and showers with hot water free of charge. These are also accessible for disabled guests. On the reception you can use also washing machines and a dryer; here you can find also an internet corner. On the campsite is free Wi-Fi connection.
In the main season there is a small restaurant open in the grounds of the campsite. You can sit outside and admire the nice view of the lake.
The campsite Bucek is 4.5 km far from Nové Strašecí, a small town with a supermarket, post office, medical care and several good restaurants.

Prague, Karlovy Vary, the castles Křivoklát and Karlštejn, caves in Koněprusy, market in Ředhošť every Sunday morning, etc.
The camp site is open from the 30th April till the 15th September.
Reception is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., until 10:00 p.m. for new guests. On the day of departure, guests must leave their place and the whole campsite by 12:00 a.m.
